When I receive a text from Karoline Becker, usually is something good involved. This time it as no exception. She was inviting me to come over to her recently remodeled studio to shoot a beautiful dominican actress Julietta Rodríguez. I knew her from the beautiful movie La Hija Natural. Of course I was going to come all the way from my hometown in the other side of the island to create some images with Karoline!
As usual, when I got into Pine Box I found some new low budget new gadget. Garden colored flood lightbulbs, and some colored regular lightbulbs. Yes, the cheaper you can get, the best. Red and Blue. Let the fun begin!
The Making of
Karoline did a combination of white regular light and the colored bulbs, and I did only a red and blue lightbulbs, and the results were some stunning pictures!
The shots above were made using the Canon 5D with a Tamron 70-200 2.8 lens and two cheap colored lightbulbs.
